CLASSICAL DESK-AND-BOOKCASE - Retains partial maker's label in the upper drawer, probably Pennsylvania, c. 1825, mahogany, pine, and poplar. Two-piece construction; the upper case with a broken-arch pediment, bookcase doors with gothic arches, and two central pigeonholes flanked by stacks of two drawers; the lower section with three drawers flanked by columns, all on turned feet. 70” high, 40.25” wide, 18.25” deep. Condition: Refinished, minor veneer damage.
