FOLK ART CARVED EAGLE - American, late 19th century, walnut and poplar. Spread-winged eagle perched atop a book. Elaborate carved feather details. 14.5” high, 32” wide. Condition: Retains its original finish with dry and partially alligatored surface, left wing with old repaired break (clean break, repair is a bit loose and could easily be redone and made nearly invisible).
