MINIATURE ANNA POTTERY CHAMBER POT - Anna, Illinois, dated 1876. Brown glaze with incised ”1876.” 2.5” high, 3.75” diameter (excluding handle). The attribution comes from Ellen Denker (author of The Kirkpatricks' Pottery at Anna, Illinois, 1986). Additionally, a comparison of the incised ”1876” on this pot with other 1876 dates on marked Anna pieces strongly supports the attribution. Condition: Glaze pops and other as-made defects, but no damage noted.
