PORTRAIT OF A BOY BY SILAS JEROME UHL (OHIO, 1841-1916) - Oil on canvas, signed upper left and dated July 23, 1914. Portrait of a teenage boy with blonde hair. In a gilt frame, 19.5” high, 15.5” wide (sight); 28.75” high, 24.75” wide (overall). The boy is believed to be Randolph F. Hayward (1901-1953), son of Pearl and Mabel Hayward of Springfield, Ohio. Condition: Canvas mounted on board, some loss to the frame.
