OHIO SHERATON SLANT FRONT DESK - Fairfield County, 1820-1840, cherry and walnut/butternut. The interior with fitted drawers, pigeon holes and a central prospect, the lid with applied trim, over four graduated and cock beaded drawers flanked by carved reeding and sunbursts, resting on turned feet. Previously sold at Mike Clum Inc., Rushville, Ohio, in the 1970s. 47.5” high, 42” wide, 22” deep, 36” writing height. Condition: Refinished. Replaced brasses. Various repairs, including to central prospect door. Missing some interior poles and lid screws.
