TWO POTTERY JARS - American, 19th century. Includes a small, ovoid redware jar with flared rim, 8” high; together with a 1-gallon stoneware jar with cobalt decoration, 9” high. Provenance: private collection Condition: A couple of rim chips to the redware jar; the stoneware jar's decoration is unusual, but it cannot be scratched off and does not fluoresce under blacklight, and it has a hairline at the base.
