THREE WORKS BY BY EARL HASTINGS BEYMER (OHIO, 1890-1975) - Includes an interior view, 16” high, 18.5” wide (overall); a floral still life, 13.5” high, 17.5” wide (overall); and a snow scene, 19.75” high, 13.75” wide (overall). Beymer was born in Beymerstown (now Old Washington), in Muskingum County. During his life, he created an impressive body of work depicting historical scenes, life in his hometown, and nature, and it includes paintings, carvings, and other mediameter. For his paintings, he typically made the frames as well. This grouping represents the first public offering of Beymer's work. Condition: Some wear and minor loss.
