WESTERN RESERVE STEP-BACK CUPBOARD
Northeastern Ohio, c. 1850, cherry and poplar. Two-piece cupboard, the upper section with two 8-pane doors, the lower section with two chamfered drawers and two paneled doors, all on a shaped base. 86.5" high, 48.25" high, 19" deep. This cupboard was purchased from an old Latter Day Saints (Mormon) family in Kirtland in 1984. Provenance: From the Lifetime Collection of a Northeast Ohio Dealer
Condition: Refinished, period wavy glass (no original glazing remains), replaced pulls and latch on lower section.
