View of a quiet afternoon in a tavern. 12” high, 9” wide (board), 17” high, 14” wide (framed). Includes two presentation inscriptions on the back dated 1969 and 1976. From the collection of Pete Slates, Carrollton, Ohio. Pete’s paternal aunt was Peg Cranston. Peg and her husband Jack were very good friends with Clyde Singer. Jack Cranston obtained many paintings directly from Clyde Singer. Pete Slates purchased most of his Clyde Singer paintings (including all featured in this auction) from Jack Cranston. Condition: Good condition.
