ZOAR, OHIO BABY/ANIMAL WALKER - Tuscarawas County, 19th century, poplar. Adjustable yoke and bar, and a steel spike. 34” high, 48” long. The seller was told that this was a baby walker/minder, though it would seem more likely that it was used for a goat or other small livestock. Ex Joe Irvin (Wayne County). The Zoar items in this auction are all from one collection, and all were purchased at either the Hildegard Mead auction or the Hilda Morhart auction, both held in Zoar in the 1980s. Condition: Expected wear.
