CHRISTMAS BIRDCAGE AND ATOMIC STAR SPINNER ORNAMENTS COLLECTION - Collection has three carousel/birdcage spinners and three atomic star spinners. They were made by the Tinkle Toy Company in Youngstown, Ohio circa 1950s. Each ornament measures approximately 3.5” H x 3.5” W x 2.5” D.  How they work: You place the ornament above an incandescent Christmas light bulb. The rising heat from the bulb causes the internal spinner to whirl. This creates a continuous twinkling effect.
