KETLAND & CO. BRITISH FLINTLOCK PISTOL, CIRCA 1804 - A Ketland & Company flintlock pistol, made in Great Britain, circa 1804. The barrel is approximately 8.5” L and bored for a .62 caliber ball. The pistol has all brass mounts, and the barrel bears British Proofhouse Marks. The lock is marked ”Ketland & Co. There is a tag attached to the pistol indicating the the pistol was used in the War of 1812, which would be consistent with its age and origin. The pistol comes complete with the original brass tipped ramrod. The pistol has a total approx. measurement of 6” H x 15” W x 2” D.  This item is classified as an antique firearm, and therefore is not subject to a background check and can be shipped directly to the winning bidder.
