The Dwight Edwards Company was a major West Coast coffee and tea roasting business, historically best known as the roasting and packaging subsidiary for Safeway Stores. Founded in Portland, Oregon, it played a massive role in grocery history before becoming fully integrated into the Safeway corporate umbrella.
