BRITISH 1862 ENFIELD P-1853 TYPE-III RIFLE MUSKET - A British 1862 Enfield P-1853 Type-III rifle musket with three barrel bands and chambered in .577 caliber. These rifles were widely imported from the British by both the Union and Confederate armies of the U.S. Civil War. This musket has an adjustable rear sight and an approximately 39” round barrel. The total dimension are 7” H x 2.5” W x 55” D.  This item is classified as an antique firearm, and therefore is not subject to a background check and can be shipped directly to the winning bidder.
