Gowers ”Diseases of the Nervous System”, Sherrington ”The Integrative Action of the Nervous System”, Robert Burton ”The Anatomy of Melancholy”, John Snow ”On Chloroform and Other Anaesthetics”, Robert Knox ”Artistic Anatomy” - Sir Charles Bell ”Bridgewater Treatise on the Hand”, and Pinel ”Pinel on Insanity”. The lot measures 10.5” H x 18.5” W x 7” D.  A Portland, OR pathologist, Dr. Richard Slavin (1949-2023) was trained to research, study, diagnose & treat disease by analyzing sample tissues at a microscopic level. He was recognized worldwide as an accomplished author, lecturer, and research affiliate with Harvard Medical School, and was a board member on the Stratford Foundation.
