1918 COLT M1911 - A WWI-era 1918 Colt Mfg. M1911 with the ”Black Army” parkerized finish. The pistol has no arsenal rebuilding marks, indicating it is all original. Per existing marks on the frame, the pistol was approved by Major John M. Gilbert 1917-1918 (marked), and passed Colt inspection by Frank L. Hosmer (H mark) including the Colt proof mark (P mark). The pistol was made for a government contract order (G mark). The pistol serial is No. 246244. A fur and hide carrying bag is included with the handgun.
