FERDINAND BURGDORFF PEBBLE BEACH WATERCOLOR - Rare watercolor painting by Ferdinand Burgdorff (California, 1881-1975) depicting Cypress trees near Pebble Beach on the Monterey Peninsula. Signed and dated 1927 lower left. Painting was commissioned for Irma Westover-Hoff of San Francisco, gifted to her and Hoff by their dear friend and artist, Burgdorff in 1928. Painting measures 9½” x 13¾” visible and is professionally matted and mounted under glass in a period frame measuring 15½” x 20½”.
