A JAPANESE BRONZE TWO-HANDLED BALUSTER VASE, LATE MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912). With pierced foliate handles, cast overall in high-relief with mythical beasts and rabbits amongst waves and clouds, enriched in gilding and red lacquer, on a stepped foot, the base signed with four character mark, 36.5cm high
Condition: Overall wear and rubbing, there is some slight deterioration to surface, the signed base appears to have been refitted and could possibly be later in date.
