A TALL CHINESE HARDWOOD INLAID DECORATED DISPLAY CABINET, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. In two sections comprising the upper section with two doors and two drawers below an openwork section of shelves with pierced panels, inlaid decoration of bone and mother of pearl depicting cranes under pine trees with cherry blossom branches. Standing on the relief carved rectangular form base with pierced frieze on curved legs with lower shelf. With Key. Total height 173cm tall.
Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman
Condition: Some small losses to bone and mother of pearl inlay in places to decoration. No major signs of damage. Six of the corner pierced sections are missing to the back of the shelves on upper section.
