A GROUP OF EARLY 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL BLACK GROUND VASES. Comprising a pair of tapering oviform vases decorated with prunus and birds 14.5cm high, a small oviform vase decorated with iris and another small oviform vase with birds 9 cm high (4)
Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman
Condition: The pair of vases with prunus - one vase with some noticeable flaking to the lacquered cloisonné surface. Vase decorated with iris - drilled to base, the reverse with large overpainted chip to the black ground. The small vase with birds in good order. Some wear overall.
