A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN MOON FLASK, BIANPING, MING OR QING DYNASTY. Well potted with a visible horizontal joining line within the domed body. With a bulb like neck with twin strap handles on a rectangular foot. Decorated in underglaze blue with bands of floral scrolls with large roundels of floral decoration with a Yinyang symbol. Six-character mark of Xuande near rim. 30cm tall.
Chip loss to corner of foot rim. Small shallow chip to rim with minor fritting to edges. No signs of repair.
