(5) Tipp & Co. Clockwork Mercedes ”Offener Tourenwagen” - A pre-war Tipp & Co. clockwork Mercedes ”Offener Tourenwagen” (Wagen des Fuhrers, No. 934), dating to circa 1937, is accompanied by a four-piece Elastolin crew manufactured by O. & M. Hausser. The clockwork mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition, with the wheels moving when wound, and a key is included. The figures are not original to the car. The crew consists of an SS chauffeur in a black uniform, Adolf Hitler in a brown party uniform, Hermann Goring, and an Axis officer or diplomatic official in an olive-drab uniform. The Hitler figure is the premium variant with a movable metal pivot shoulder designed to execute a mechanical parade salute; the arm moves but does not stay raised. Normal light wear from age and handling is present. The car measures approximately 23 cm L, or 1:18 scale, while the figures measure approximately 6.5 cm H from the base to the top of the head.
