Super Lincoln, AKA Fat Pontiac Tin Car, Japan - Known among collectors as the ”Fat Car, ” this charming early postwar Japanese tin automobile combines Lincoln side trim and taillights with Pontiac-inspired hood and grille styling. The friction mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. The colorful lithographed interior features green, cream, white, and red accents along with a seated driver wearing a suit coat and bow tie. The chrome remains in Very Good condition with some darkening and minor plating loss, while the bottom plate shows light play wear. An impressive and whimsical toy from early 1950s postwar Japan.
