1956 Thunderbird Friction Tin Car by Nomura, Japan - Retaining its original red paint, this superb 1956 Thunderbird, also known as the ”Sports Car, ” was produced by Nomura of Japan. The toy features shiny chrome, bright original hubcaps, and a detailed red, yellow, and silver interior accented with black piping. The clear removable roof remains in excellent condition, while the bottom plate, marked ”Made in Japan, ” retains a near-new appearance. Some darkening is present on the taillights. The friction mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. A reproduction box accompanies the toy. It measures approximately 11.25” L. Condition: EXCELLENT
