Ford Fairlane 500, Boat & Trailer ”For Play on Land and Water” Box Set, Japan - One of the finest Japanese tin automobile sets we have encountered, this 1959 Ford Fairlane 500 with boat and trailer was produced by HTC Japan and comes complete with its ultra-rare original box and a boxed Mermaid outboard motor. The Fairlane is finished in a stellar two-tone aqua and white exterior with a beautifully detailed coral, red, black, and white interior. The painted mahogany boat is marked ”WISH, ” while the original tin trailer appears unused. We were unable to get the outboard motor to operate during cataloging. Another immaculate, near-new toy from the Glasbrenner Collection; we have seen only two other boxed examples. The car measures approximately 11” L, the boat approximately 10.5” L, and the original box approximately 9” L x 12” W x 4” H. The box has one corner tape repair. Condition: VERY GOOD
