1865 Civil War Light Cavalry Saber M1860 Emerson - 1864 Civil War Light Cavalry Saber M1860. Stamped Emerson & Silver, Trenton NJ (partially illegible) on one side and U.S D.F.M. 1864 on the other. Stamped 28 on the hand guard. Handle has been lacquered, with leather and wire intact and in good condition. Approximately 35” blade and 41” total length. There is a slight bend in the handle (see photos). Not sharpened. Per consigner, saber belonged to three famous magicians over the years - Professor Pull, Don Fraser and Kazar.
