J. L. Fisher Patent Model Grass Seed Cleaner, 1872 - Patent model for improved machine for cleaning grass seed by John L. Fisher. Has what appears to be original hand written patent tag (patent No. 221453) with patent date of November 11 1879, and the handwritten patent application tag dated July 9 1872. Also has a tag identifying this model as having come from the Cliff Peterson Collection. We have printed out a copy of the original diagrams and description. Model is made of wood and metal. Measures approximately 12” x 9.25” x 9.25” tall. Weight: approximately 3.6 pounds. This model has suffered some damage and wear (there are several dents on the tank). A top loading hopper may be missing. Please see photos for details and condition.
