Kewpie & Early 20th C Dolls, Needlepoint, Art *** - *** Lot 14 Auctions WILL ship this lot, but Lot 14 Auctions CAN NOT insure or accept responsibility for damage in transit, due to dolls' fragility. *** Collection of twelve (12) dolls, doll parts, and doll related artwork. Includes some dolls which appear to be original Kewpie dolls. The tallest doll is approximately 6.5”. Some are marked from Japan. All dolls have differing degrees of wear, and some are damaged. Also includes some Kewpie doll artwork, including a patriotic triptych from the 1976 bicentennial (broken and worn frame 15” x 7.25”), framed needlepoint (7.5” x 8.25”), a framed Valentine's Day card (approximately 4-3/8” x 5.5”), framed round picture in older small frame (2.75” x 2.75:, picture shows 1.75” diameter window), and framed images from a birthday card (frame is approximately 5.75” x 6.75”).
