DC ”Batman Demon of Gothos Mansion” #227 Key Issue - DC Comics. Silver Age ”Batman” comic book with main story titled ”Demon of Gothos Mansion, ” Volume I, key issue no. 227, 1970. Featuring iconic cover art by Neal Adams, paying homage to the legendary 1939 Bob Kane cover of ”Detective Comics, ” issue no. 31. Written by Denny O'Neil with art by Neal Adams. Height: 10 1/4 in x width: 7 in. Condition: All pages are present and accounted for. There are no major tears, large losses, or deep creases to most pages. There are small bindery chips or minute tears along the lower margins of approximately pages 8-26. There is a crease to the lower right corner of the last page. Light wear along the extreme edges of the pages and the spine, including few small and light creases along the upper quadrant of the spine. Light toning to the pages, consistent with age and material. There is a distribution stamp from Thorpe & Porter along the upper right quadrant of the cover. This comic book has not been professionally graded and we recommend inspection prior to bidding.
