Marvel ”Tomb of Dracula” Key #1 - 1st App Dracula - Marvel Comics. Bronze Age ”The Tomb of Dracula” comic book, key issue no. 1, 1972. Written by Gerry Conway. Artwork by Gene Colan and Tom Palmer. Featuring the first appearance and origin of Dracula in the modern Marvel Universe, in addition to the first appearances of Frank Drake and Inspector Chelm. Height: 10 1/4 in x width: 7 in. Condition: All pages are present and accounted for. There are no tears, losses, or signs of repair. The pages are toned. Light wear along the extreme edges, particularly to the spine and lower edge of the comic. There is a small area of soiling along the lower inner corner of each page. There are gripper holes along the lower margins of each page, inherent to the production process. There is a region of red distributor overspray along the upper edge of the comic.
