Italo Scanga ”Indian Head Nickel” Monotype 1987 - Italo Scanga (Italian/American, 1932-2001). Painted monotype on paper print titled ”Indian Head Nickel, ” 1987. Depicting an abstract composition featuring a nickel, a house structure, and vibrant, colorful shapes. Pencil signed along the lower right. With a Klabal Gallery Inc., Minneapolis, label adhered along the verso bearing artist attribution, title, date, and medium. Height: 38 in x width: 31 in x depth: 1 3/4 in. Condition: The colors are bold and bright. There are no visible tears, losses, or signs of repair. Light undulation to the sheet. The work is lightly toned along the margins. Floated in frame atop a non-acidic mat. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame. Not inspected out of frame.
