Jennifer Dickson ”Let There Be Light” Etching/Aquatint - Jennifer Dickson (South African/Canadian, 1936-2025). Etching with aquatint print on paper titled ”Que la Lumiere Soit (Let There Be Light), ” mid 20th century. Featuring a geometric division between a highly textured, mottled pattern in shades of grey and silver reminiscent of frost crystals along the upper half and a minimalist black void along the lower half. Height: 39 in x width: 31 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: There are no visible tears or losses. The work has slipped its hinges. The sheet is toned. Small areas of soiling, particularly along the lower half. Mat burn along the perimeter. Housed under an acidic mat. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frame, including accretions gathered along the surface of the glass. Work not inspected out of frame.
