Luis Lopez Loza ”Walking & Smoking” Aquatint - Luis Lopez Loza (Mexican, b. 1939). Intaglio and aquatint print on paper titled ”Walking and Smoking, ” 20th century. Depicting an an abstract, biomorphic shape surrounded by black footprints, punctuated by ascending rings of red smoke. Pencil signed along the lower right; editioned ”A/P” along the lower left. Height: 26 1/2 in x width: 20 1/2 in x depth: 1 in. Condition: There are no major tears or losses. The sheet is toned. Due to the deckled edges it is difficult to determine if there are any minute or small losses along the perimeter, however, no major losses are evident. There are two small areas of soiling along the lower right edge. There are three large circular areas of soiling along the upper third and lower third, possibly caused by the adhesive used to adhere the sheet to the backing. Work floated in frame. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frame. Work not inspected out of frame.
