A Japanese Mixed Metal Fuchi and Kashira Converted to a Box - A Japanese Mixed Metal Fuchi and Kashira Converted to a Box   Meiji period, parcel gilt bronze with elements in silver and  copper mounted with a brass liner for use as a box, decorated in relief with a warrior talking to a scholar to the Kashira and a horse and tree to the Fuchi, incised with a poetic inscription as pictured.   Dimensions:  1 1/2 x 1 x 7/8in  Condition: Good with expected surface and foot wear, scattered dings.
