An American Polychrome-Painted Cast-Iron Front Mantel Clock, 19th Century - An American Polychrome-Painted Cast-Iron Front Mantel Clock, 19th Century   With various patriotic symbols, including spread-wing eagle, phrygian cap, and shield flanked by scales.   Dimensions : 11 1/2 in. wide, 13 1/2 in. high Condition: Together with pendulum.  Works not examined for working order.  The clock face window loose and in need of repair.  Rubbing, wear, and loss to paint decoration throughout.  Painted leather dial with craquelure to paint, with wear around winding holes.
