Eight English Delftware Tiles, 18th Century - Eight English Delftware Tiles, 18th Century   Comprising: a cobalt figural example; three with floral manganese decoration; three with manganese landscape decorations; and an example with cobalt-decorated landscape centered in a stippled manganese border, possibly Lambeth.   Dimensions : 5 1/8 in. square, each (approximately)   Provenance:  From the estate of Dr. and Mrs. Martin Mandel  Condition: All with small chips, flaking and loss around edges, more predominantly on the cobalt example.  Some crazing to glazes.  Other general scratches, rubbing, and wear to decoration overall.
