A French Gilt Bronze and Marble Inkwell - A French Gilt Bronze and Marble Inkwell   Late 19th century, in the form of an eagle standing on a stepped marble plinth supporting a globular ink well decorated with an applique heraldic crest and an imbricated leaf and ball finial.     Dimensions:  height is 7 3/4in, 3 1/4 x 3 1/4in at the base.  Condition: Good with some expected surface wear, some fleabites are present in the marble.
