A Louis XV-Style Ormolu-Mounted Walnut and Parquetry-Veneered Writing Desk, Late 19th/ Early 20th - A Louis XV-Style Ormolu-Mounted Walnut and Parquetry-Veneered Writing Desk, Late 19th/ Early 20th Century   The shaped top with inset tooled leather writing surface above three parquetry-veneered drawers on cabriole legs ending in sabots.   Dimensions : 53 1/2 in. wide, 30 in. deep, 30 in. high   Provenance : From a local collection.  Condition: Together with two keys.  One sabot detached but retained.  Heavy sun fading.  Wear and loss to parquetry veneer.  Rubbing, wear and loss to gilt decoration on mounts.
