An Italian Parcel-Gilt Chestnut Armchair and Side Chair, Early 20th Century - An Italian Parcel-Gilt Chestnut Armchair and Side Chair, Early 20th Century   With scrolled crests and central vertical painted splat flanked by caned sides on cabriole legs joined by stretcher.   Dimensions : 26 in. wide, 18 1/2 in. deep, 45 1/2 in. high, seat height 20 in. (the armchair); 20 in. wide, 18 in. deep, 44 1/4 in. high, seat height 19 in.   Provenance : From a Villanova, PA collection. Condition: Each in good overall condition with some rubbing and wear to knuckles on armchair, some minor wear and loss to paint decoration on both.  General nicks, marks, and scratches associated with age and use.
