A George II Cross-Banded Walnut Chest of Drawers, Mid 18th Century - A George II Cross-Banded Walnut Chest of Drawers, Mid 18th Century   With a bookmatched-veneer top above two short drawers and three long.   Dimensions : 38 in. wide, 22 in. deep, 36 in. high   Provenance : From a Villanova, PA collection. Condition: Together with key.  Hardware replaced.  Losses to veneer throughout, with additional patches and repairs.  Right front foot broken and in need of repair. Left rear foot is detached but present. One short drawer bottom with loss to corner.  Minor bleaching and sun fading to top.  Other nicks, chips, marks and scratches.
