Ulster County Deeds for the Elmendorf, Sleight, and Van Keusen Families Ulster County, NY, comprising in chronological order: a 1737 deed between Matthew Van Keusen and his wife and James Scott, a 1739/40 deed between the executors of James Scott and Cornelius Van Keusen, a 1742 deed between Cornelius Van Keusen and his wife and Benjamin Sleight, a 1742 deed between Johannis Nardenbergh and his wife and Gerrit Elmendorf, an indenture between Jahannis Hardenbergh and Gerrit Elmendorf, a 1755 deed between Benjamin Slight and Jacob Elmendorf, and a 1757 deed between Benjamin Sleight and Christopher Kreusted. Also included in this lot is a last will and testament for William Budden with an accompanying poem ”The Old Mans comforts, and how he gained them” ostensibly written by his son. Condition: Various states, minor tears, losses, edge wear, toning, and scattered stains as pictured.
