A Near Pair of Louis XIV Fruitwood Fauteuils, 18th Century and Later - A Near Pair of Louis XIV Fruitwood Fauteuils, 18th Century and Later   With tall rectangular padded back joined by downswept arms on volute supports to the padded seat, raised on os de mouton legs joined by stretchers.   Dimensions : 24 in. wide, 24 1/2 in. deep, 44 in. high, seat height 18 in. (each, approximate)     Condition: The upholstery later and varying with general wear.  Each with evidence of old worming and staining.  One with gouge to right arm support.  The other with repairs to rear legs and raised approximately 1/4 in.  Other general nicks, marks, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
