Four Watercolor Portrait Miniatures, Probably English, 19th Century - Four Watercolor Portrait Miniatures, Probably English, 19th Century   Each young lady depicted bust length in profile, with sheer bonnet and similar dress; three apparently by the same hand, with beige-to-black backgrounds, and a single example with blue-gray background; all in ebonized frames with brass hangers.   Dimensions : 2 7/8 in. x 2 3/8 in. (sight),  5 1/8 in. x 4 1/4 in. (framed, the three); 3 in. x 2 5/8 in. (sight), 5 7/8 in. x 4 7/8 in. (framed, the single example) Condition: One with cracked glass.  One from the three inscribed on the reverse, ”mother / aged about/ 17 or 20”.  One with spot to background.  All in good overall condition.  The frames in good condition with very minor expected wear.
