(plate); 16 in. x 17 in. (framed)   Provenance : Shapiro Auctions, 9 November 2024, lot 56; From a Bala Cynwyd, PA estate.   A scene showing Thomas Anshutz, an instructor at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, delivering a talk on anatomy to artists at the New York School of Art. There is a self-portrait of Sloan (in glasses) at the extreme upper right, with fellow artists George Bellows, Maurice Prendergast,  Robert Henri, and William Glackens also in attendance.   Condition: Not examined outside frame.  In good overall condition with minor scattered foxing in margins.  The frame in good condition.
