(Italian School, 18th Century), Bathers in a Quarry - (Italian School, 18th Century), Bathers in a Quarry   Depicting a group of bathers in a pool with mountains and ruins beyond.   Oil on canvas   Dimensions : 15 1/2 in. x 19 3/8 in.; 21 1/4 in. x 25 in. (framed)   Provenance : From a Yardley estate.  Condition: The canvas unlined and with small patched repair evident at top right corner.  The stretcher probably original and with various numbered stamps and partial paper labels affixed.  Under UV light, small area of inpainting to bottom center in ground below water, and a large section at the left, center side near edge.  Later silver-gilt frame with minimal wear.
