Continental Baroque Style Two-Part Carved Oak Open Stepback Bookcase - A Continental Baroque Style Two-Part Carved Oak Open Stepback Bookcase, Incorporating Antique and Later Elements. The upper section fitted with two adjustable shelves. the lower section having a hinged fall front enclosing an open interior above a single cupboard and base molding, raised on turned bun feet to the front. Dimensions: Height 92in; width 31in; depth 19in. Provenance: Property from the Collection of an English Gentleman. Condition: Structurally sound. The open bookcase is later embellished with carved oak elements from 17th and 18th century Baroque furniture. General marks, wear, nicks, scuffs, abrasions and surface scratches throughout.
