English Rosewood Wheel Barometer, First Half 19th Century - An English Rosewood Wheel Barometer, First Half 19th Century. Having a large central silvered barometer dial, with a subsidiary hygrometer dial, thermometer, small convex mirror and level. Dimensions: Height 38 3/4in; width 10in; depth 2 1/2in. Condition: The barometer with general marks and wear to the case. Minor age cracks and shrinkage t the veneer. Level dial appears to be an old replacement. Lacking small knob for adjustment below large barometer dial. Otherwise appears to be in generally good condition. The mercury is still present. We cannot guarantee the workability and accuracy of this instrument.
