A Belgian Medieval Style Carved Oak Mourning Figure, Early 20th Century. Modeled after a Pleurant (weeper) from the Tomb of Isabella of Bourbon, circa 1475-1476, depicted wearing a wearing a divided hennin.
Dimensions: Height 23 1/4in; width 7 1/2in; depth 5in.
Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Main Line Collection.
Condition:
In overall good condition. General marks, wear, nicks and small losses overall.
