A Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Marquetry Inlaid Kingwood and Mahogany Games Table, First Half 20th Century. The rectangular hinged top that swivels a quarter turn to reveal an inset green baize playing surface, above a single drawer with baize lined tric-trac / backgammon playing surface, raised on cabriole legs. Oak secondary wood.
Dimensions: Height closed 29 1/2in; width 29in; depth 20 1/4in; width open 40 3/4in; depth open 28 1/2in.
Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Main Line Collection.
Condition:
Structurally sound. Minor losses and lifting to veneers. Sun fading to surface overall. Typical wear and toning to bronze mounts.
