French Carved Oak Aneroid Barometer, Late 19th Century - A French Carved Oak Aneroid Barometer, St. Etienne, Late 19th Century. Fitted with a subsidiary thermometer. Dimensions: Height 38in; width 15 1/2in; depth 3in. Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection. Condition: The barometer with general marks, wear, small losses, scuffs and surface scratches to the case. There is a glued repair to carved elements on the left side of case. The metalwork and enamel with general wear and toning. Otherwise appears to be in generally good condition. The mercury is still present.
